I’m taking a chance by commenting. I usually seem to be anti police when commenting to these kinds of events. From this video, it seems like the officers made the right call. The offender had a knife (another crime within itself/deadly weapon/contraband) to the officer’s neck. If I was the officer on my knees, I would be screaming, “shoot him before he kills me”. Until you’re placed in that type of situation, you have no clue what the right call is.

Their in cages. Now how did that happen? I really doubt that the officer was the one responsible for the conditions. I would imagine that would be someone higher up the chain. Inmates in the past have managed, successfully, to bring attention to bad conditions. There's a process for that, legally. It seems that a lack of info on the inmate's part is what really got him that flight ticket to the next realm. One way trip.

1 less waste of tax payer money. if your actively threatening another persons life you forfeit yours. prisoners have to many "rights" such as tablets, commissary, spending all day playing cards, basketball, handball, etc. next time you ask yourself why our prison population is so high, its because going to prison is like living in a large family with strict but supporting parents. the only thing bad about prisons anymore is the other inmates possibly.

They never had a choice. You’re in prison then you start a riot and have a CO on their knees with a knife to his neck. I understand being pissed off over conditions of the prison but it’s not to smart to put a CO on their knees and threatening to kill him. Never had a choice they had to eliminate the threat
