JFI= I've noticed that the reason why Cats & Dogs "both" don't like their hair strands close together b/c they want or like the air to be able to circulate within the strands. I believe! that's why?! they! will: Bite, Chew & Pull whatever "matts" they have on them, until they ARE completely out of their hair.
