my momma had them quickly and I had to help her clean them a little but she bathed r them all. she didn't eat all the placenta tho! is that ok? one had to be put down because he had a hernia and she kept licking it and got infected he was only about 3 days. he was too small for surgery. it broke my heart. but his tummy and legs were red but he would nurse. I don't know ow if they did put him down. I didn't want to stay. I asked the young man to try saving him to learn for others. very 😔 😟 for me

That is a huge litter! Whoa!!! You may have to make her lay down and put the kittens on her teats. I had a cat that gave birth when she was really too young, but that's what I did until she caught on. You may have to swab their bottoms to get them tee-teeing and boobooing until she starts doing it herself! Mommy and babies are beautiful!!! 👍🙂❤️❤️❤️
That's a large litter, but more than likely, she is not appreciating the collars on her new borns, it is a lot of toxicity for her and them while cleaning them. They really don't like you messing with their litter until they are a little older.
She needs to be put on her side and shown how to nurse the babies .

Damn, that is a baseball team. They are cute, but mamma will never gonna get a restful sleep. I'm glad mine only had 3 because there were times I didn't get enough sleep. I had to take naps to make it through the day. I'm just glad that only went on for about 4 to 5 weeks. You go, momma, do your best.

it could be because you took them away to put a band on them so that you could identify them. it is the first look that bonds a mother and baby. maybe the babies bonded to you instead of their mother. the act of imprinting upon the mother can be with any species. 65 years ago I saw a movie were a chick imprinted upon an elephant.
