Well neither did I but I spent 20 mos in a county jail during Covid for something i didn’t do and was acquitted by a jury thank God. No one cares about the comfort of criminals and I get that but not everyone there are criminals. So someone’s mistake willful or not cost me 20 months of my life and eating trash like u see on that video. Learn to have more compassion

Some of these comments discuss me. Some of these inmates may be incarcerated awaiting a hearing on child support or something of the sort. Maybe lost employment do to closures and just hadn’t landed a position yet. Do not judge lest ye be judged.
My advice to those who don’t like the meals at the Allegheny County Jail….. don’t commit crimes and go there. Don’t feel sorry for you.

i feel your pain I was locked 🔒 up December 2024 I got out January 2025 from cook county jail 26 st California in Chicago. For breakfast peanut butter 🧈 and jelly with 2 slices of bread 🍞 lunch time was baloney 1 packet of mustard and 2 slices of bread 🍞 . At dinner time we got a hot tray it wasn't something I would eat outside of jail or feed a dog 🐕 with . Jail is meant for us to suffer for crimes we commit so once u do your time you won't and don't want to come back to jail . Just imagine if they fed people steaks 🥩 in jail MF would commit crimes left and right to go 🔙 to jail or prison so don't complain do your time and stop 🛑 committing crimes homie .

I got in trouble for the first time ever and was in 201 days. our dinner was 2 sandwiches that held 1 slice of cheese each and a mini bag of chips. Jail isn't supposed to be a vacation or fine dining. they give you the minimum they can get away with. Don't like it? Don't break the law
They tell you when you’re there if you don’t like the food or the bed or the bathrooms or the lock down then don’t go to jail ! I have been to prison and and county jail and they do this to make it suck to make it hard and to make you feel uncomfortable on purpose so that you are punished and so you don’t want to go back so you don’t recommit and go back to jail again ! If you don’t like it then do the rite thing and follow the laws so you don’t have to go back brother ! Real talk !

hate to say it but give that to the poor little child in some of these countries where they don't eat at all and they will be so appreciative. Also, yes there are innocent people that go to jail unfortunately but they also had to be around the wrong people to wind up in that situation either way. Anyways, this should be exactly what drives a person to never want to go back to jail/prison besides wanting to be a better person as a whole
