what this video doesn't tell you is the following. Rolling stone magazine left prince off of their 100 greatest guitar players of all time list the year before. prince took that shot as disrespect and did this performance as a middle finger towards Rolling stone magazine. this performance is now considered the greatest solo guitar performance of all time and thats by most famous guitarist.
