Where is the sanitary trap to block sewer gasses?

a "bath room" should be just that.. not a gross toilet shoved in a corner.. toilet paper is gross.. showers all leaking and moldy.. I've been to 20 countries and I loved the "bathrooms" that combined toilet,shower,bidet and sink all in one water sealed room..
I’m no plumber, but I think you need a P trap so the nasty smell from waste water doesn’t enter the house.
as people in New York that are still putting lead on the floors of their showers because that's what they tore out just because it's legal doesn't mean it's right some people need help and a lot of it

We cannot, because an inch is the smallest measurement and i think people would notice a 3 inch grade.
we do build showers like that in the US, the only difference is actual "bathrooms" and walls with curbs. though it's the same basic process with the membranes and drains. personally we use shluter systems although there are several different companies that produce the membrane systems.
we do build them! I installed one about a month ago in North Alabama. Most people just go with a cheaper method which I do as well.

We don't because a shower built like this will last a very long time.
we do. exactly like that. we just use a different drain head that attaches to the waterproof membrane for an even more waterproof seal. probably should have checked before you wrote your comnentary.
