without tax subsidies, windmills and solar panels would have never been built. they are extremely inefficient, cost prohibitive, and a bad business all around. if it wasn't for hardworking taxpayers shelling out trillions of dollars, neither one of those businesses could operate, they couldn't even build their products, and every penny of their profits actually come from the taxes of our citizens!!!!! it is time to end all subsidies associated with these "clean energy initiatives" that are only creating more pollution and more problems, with their electricity produced being negligible at best! stop all subsidies!!!

solar power, hydro electric, wind mills. Anyways yes there are emissions from building the car and charging but it will significantly reduce carbon emissions over the lifetime of that car. You can't tell me a Tesla next to a gas Ford is going to put out more carbon emissions that's just straight up false.

Yep, that’s an easy discussion to win. Politicians and other public individuals think if they have an EV they’re going to save the world. But like stated in this clip the POWER SOURCE that CREATED THAT same electricity to charge those EV’s are coal or natural gas fired, SO THEY ARE AN ABSOLUTE CAUSE OF POLLUTION and have a BIG CARBON FOOTPRINT…..!!!!
Burning the fossil fuels in a far away place to create electricity and then attempting to transmit that electricity over thousands of miles is the most inefficient unsustainable way to power society. The only power source more unsustainable and toxic to the environment….batteries. EVs are a complete ecological disaster
Considering the entire energy picture (extraction, production and usage), EVs are about 4.4 x more efficient than ICE (internal combustion engine) cars. None of you will ever find valid information showing the opposite.

I love when peole talk aboit the facts of Energy. Yes renewable energy sources start with a carbon debt meaning they have to operate for a period of time to overcome the carbon debt incurred by the manufacturing. But the biggest fact just like any new business they must overcome the investment period to become viable. Once we have established a solid renewable energy infrastructure we will have less carbon emission and a healthier planet overall. All you have to do is look at the countries that have already made the change Norway and Denmark just to name a couple.
Solar panels are providing electricity with around 22% efficiency. Nothing beats gas, coal and best of all, NUCLEAR!
