I had one when I was a baby been through 6 kids and 5 grandkids . Things were multi purpose and built to last.75 years plus .
borrowed one from my first born son's grandmother 60 + years ago. used it for all 3 boys. have never seen another one since then.
my brother had one that my grandmother bought him 84 yrs ago...and my son has it now.. my children used it my son's 57 my daughter's 50 and I don't know if my daughter used it but it was safe and it was wonderful but we still have ours ... for the next generation hopefully
My sister had one when she was a baby. The bottom served as a play table. Tell wife to pound salt —- do research
this is a beautiful piece from them the past. Do not let your wife throw it out.
it's an ancient European design that was (i believe) used in parts of eastern Europe. my paternal Grandfather made similar ones. (he was a Master carpenter)
I would definitely keep that antique! It could be worth some money !! ❤️

Give it to me Antique Vintage my older 2 sisters born 1938,42, years later sister 1949 and I 1954 used it. IT was meant to stay in family as grandkids great could use. The same piece of furniture was thrown out by decoraters and once learnt it was too late 😭😭
