She’s not saying that she’s going to stop doing it what she’s saying is she’s going to keep being the mother that she’s being and she’s going to still go to his games. She’s not telling him that she’s giving up. She’s just saying all the things that she does do for him and he doesn’t realize it stuff that his father isn’t doing. She’s just pointing out all the stuff that she does do that he’s saying she doesn’t do. I’ve given my kids this whole conversation too. Obviously she takes care of him. There’s a roof over his head. He’s wearing clothes. He has a phone of his own. He’s been taken care of. He just sounds like an spoiled brat to me.
Kids may lie but it stems from something and they’re entitled to their truth that is why the need family therapy

I can see the pain in this mother’s eyes.. she’s been supporting him all on her own probably his whole damn life. She may not know how at this point to communicate with her son, but I think she communicate with her son. Well, you got to remember the children that we are raising right now that’s not how we were raise and they have their own mindset what they think we supposed to do for them may not always be possible if she keeping the son away from your daddy, then why don’t your daddy come to her and pick up his son? Do the daddy even show up for the football games or whatever games that may be don’t sound like it cause he would’ve been outrage with his mother so I think it’s both ways him being raised by a woman without a father. Father only gets him will come by every now and then Mother may be burned out and he’s looking for her to feel every thing in desire. He needs all his needs mothers. Can’t do it all and children want to understand. He’s big enough to pick up a phone in the car or something so him and his father should be able to enter goes both ways not one.🤔
The child was adamant of his feelings. His mother needed to sincerely speak to him instead of snapping. Get to the moral of the story, then gently explain as an adult how you guys got there. This child is reaching out the best way he can explain. We as parents show very little regards for our children sometimes. Communicate with a smile rather than anger. He doesn't understand! I went through this with my oldest son. His dad was absent and when he did hear from him it was “Oh your mom blocked me.. Your mom didn’t tell me.. oh your mom don’t want me around “ when he messed up and didn’t show up for him and it caused my son to be angry at me because his dad blamed me for his actions. I even got him a cellphone so he could see that it was his Dad lying. It hurt me to see my baby hurt. Just like the hurt in her voice… I was at every game, school activities, his biggest cheerleader bc dad NEVER CAME TO ANYTHING.. it took him to graduate high school to see like Mom is the ONLY PERSON TO HAVE MY BACK…. Now our bond is so strong and Dad he doesn’t even talk too.
