It started when officers got a call about a suspicious person. after officer Bryce Sheehan responded, he asked the suspect, Crasteven Wilson, if he could pat-search him. When Sheehan placed his hand on Wilson's arm, police said Wilson pulled a gun and shot at Sheehan, narrowly missing his head. Sheehan then returned fire. Police said Wilson then tried to steal Sheehan's car but fled on foot. He was found a short time later and taken to the hospital where he later died.
