I had a '69 Jeep CJ5 I was worried about being stolen (only a soft top for the winter and no top for the summer) I ran a wire from the ignition to the left blinker and then to a toggle switch under the seat. both had to be turned on before the Jeep would start...
short inside the wiring harness.
yeah that's funny that car was just assembled on Thursday or Friday when everybody's got their paychecks and drunk off their ass
😆
Does the visor light come on when you turn on the wipers?
DEI employees at the factory. This was already discovered like three years ago lmao
😳 NICE 🤘
His buddy is outside the car with the scanner turning them off & on people🥺🥺
Mirror is reflecting something onto sensor for auto wipers!
They installed a radio at home😅
5 bucks said they recently replaced the head unit.
07 dodge 2500 HD. computer locked due to ignition and immobilizer broken
Don't turn on the radio unless 🥺
We had a 1957 Studebaker Silver Hawk. The car caught fire and burned the big wiring harness into two pieces. No big deal just splice a ten/twelve inch piece of wire and it will be good to go. I turned on every device and started splicing. At one point, when you opened the door, the radio played. Took two days to be operational. Never did find the dome light, light under the hood or the horn. Used a toggle switch for the horn, and called it good. We ran a complete new wire from the ignition switch, remember it was under the clutch, to the starter straight to the battery. The Hawk was still running like that when I sold it.
My step dad had a Chevy that everytime he turned the turn indicator on the horn would blow in time to the blinker clicking.
did you pay extra for that option ? I bought a rice burner that when you put the right blinker on the radio would come on to
crossed wire
I bought a new Chevy truck back in 1983 that you had to push the cigarette lighter to get the wipers to work.
its because it doesnt have gas in it so its using any little resource it can get from the car😭😭😭
Guy from my hometown had a car that would roll down the windows if you turned on the stereo. It also had a hole in the floor in the back seat where you could see the road underneath you. It was from Indiana and I guess they don't or didn't do inspections at that time. I heard it wasn't uncommon to see cars held together by duct tape...
that's some interesting wiring there
cap it's a one-way wire if it were ground related that would happen anytime you activated anything windows radio seat etc. notice how he doesn't Pan the camera all the way over to the left there's a reason for that
Check fuses under the hood and in the cabin. Could be a pin swap in the harness as well.
Quit the cap.
the ground for the lamp in the visor is damaged so when you open the visor the power goes through the windshield wipers?
I've heard about car assembly employees dropping pieces of metal inside of the door frame to vibrate confusing everyone as to what that sound is.
this is what happens when the computer controls everything.
And you stear the car with the drivers headrest😂😂
let me guess 🤔 is it an all electric vehicle because the visor lights didn't turn on . Looks like someone used a backyard Mexican mechanic for a problem and this happened
you have a bad ground
Cars are now computers, re flash the module..
mine come on sometimes when I open the windows 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
Mice chew some wires and cause a short in the wire harness?
It's a wiring issue. The wipers are connected to the wire that is supposed to turn on the mirror light.
if the visor has lites it could be crossfeeding into wiper circuit... troubleshooting is needed ....
😆😆
Thats is fucked up !! Lmao 🤣 😂 😆
I drove a Monte Carlo that drained the battery when the parking break was engaged. Many, many men have told me it's impossible.
to much technology
hmmmm🤔 must be the thermal hydroculator
that car needs an exorcism
more thannlikely its an ignition switch inside the steering column, not the ignition itself but a switch panel that controls power to places in the vehicle, it's the most common part that goes out and shows electrical gremlins!!!!!
wow
😂😳
It happens when you buy a Nissan! 😆 JK! But wait until the transmission issues start 😖
dang dude 😎😎
my brother did this to my dad as a prank but it wasn't the mirror it was a sensor in the grip to a steering wheel
No, that’s fucking weird. Yeah, I had a friend at work at a Chevy dealership there some weird fucking things on these cars. They got so much electronics. It’s not funny. Yeah he was telling me if your fifth wheel lights burn out on your truck cruise control won’t work the fuse to tie the light in the cruise control works together like whatyeah that’s what he said so if you have a problem with your cruise control and your fifth wheel light is burnt out. It’s your fuse.
The visor is already “ lowered” on on
Ok I have seen some crazy shit in my day but this 😂😂 Never. Just dont see how😂
