Happened to me at Texas road house. Waitress came and took my plate and 3/4 minutes later she came and sit it on the table. She never said a word when she took, so when she came back and sat the plate down. Of course I asked whatβs going on,!she replied β I thought they have you the wrong steakβ. I told her she would have to get me a new steak, β Iβm not eating or paying for thisβ she went to get a manager,!there was no problem and I had to pay for the meal. I told him was going to have to take the money and I am sure you canβt I left the dinner in the table headed for the door, she followed to door and demanded a tip. Sheβs still waiting 15 yrs later. I called corporate, they sent me meal coupons for a family of 4 free. I donβt know what she with meal for the time it was gone, but itβs rude and unprofessional.

Iβm not about to eat a meal thatβs taken away then brought back, in fact if something is wrong with my meal and I send it back I never ask for a replacement I just tell them to take it off my bill, they may do something to the replacement they send out. I watched a tv show where the cooks did stuff to to the food that was taken back out

That happened to my husband, at a restaurant in San Antonio! He grabbed her arm and said Iβm eating put it back!! She did and he said, when you see the plate empty, than you can take it! Lol
