pedestrians have the right or way. I yield to every living creature that I see, and I live in the very rural suburbs in GEORGIA. IVhave to get to a grocery store, Walmart, Target, a movie Theater, all we have is a Circle K, a Post Office, and a Family Dollar!! All kinds of wildlife is our here!! Regarding the cross walk, motor vehicles must yield to pedestrians, regardless..You can charge the pedestrian with something. but no jail time. I call fake.

You should have looked both ways for vehicles before you cross in the crosswalk! Crosswalks are not safety zones
IDK the circumstances here...I consider myself a courteous driver, careful of pedestrians, and always checking crosswalks...I always stop for people in crosswalks...several times, I've had some self-important moron behind me try to pass on the left...into incoming traffic. Once almost hitting a woman pushing a baby carriage, with another young child in hand...I had just enough time to yell " WATCH OUT!!"...if people would just lOOk where they're driving... SMH...
