Never been on a cruise. Never wanted to go on a cruise. Seems like being cooped up in a crowded, floating shopping mall, with occasional breaks spent racing against the clock (as seen here). Maybe it's just me. 🤷

This usually happens to those who are careless about being on time . They believe some one will wait for them.
It's better to be 10 minutes early instead of 2 minutes late.

When they say leaving at 5:00, they’re leaving at 5:00. Sorry, but they have schedules to keep. Other ships pulling in, so they have to be out of that slip by a certain time. Bet you’re always late for work, too!

it's a lot less stressful to stay on ship and enjoy the pool and a drink. Also not funny. I personally would not be able to afford the extra cost of catching up with the ship. I hope they have their passports on them.
Being early is on time, On time is late, and Late is unacceptable. What does happen in that scenario? Do you have to wait for the next cruise ship? Do they shuttle you out to the ship somehow?

Been on 4 cruises...there is always a few running to get on board, then have to make travel arrangements to the next port!!!
Went to Nassau on a cruise will never go back there .It was awful full of rude people so nasty trash everywhere people asking for money we even seen a man standing on the sidewalk looking in a store window shaving yes shaving. A big rat ran across in front of me while at the at the queen's stairway. It was just a very nasty place never again.
Get a smaller boat to get them on or get them to the next port.

It's been tried before that s sller nosy brings them to the shop when it's not in port to get people back on but they won't stop away from port and the person may have to go a long way to catch up with them
