I miss my husband. He was a good man. We were together for 50 years and it’s been 3 and a half years since he passed away. Our son passed away 3 weeks before my husband died. With Christmas coming it’s been hard to get through each day without them but I have my youngest son with me. He just became a Dad and I’m a first time Grandma to a beautiful baby girl. I decorated my tree in my bedroom and bought gifts for him, his girlfriend and the baby

I believe when a woman says that she doesn't" Need" a man she's actually saying that she can make it through life without a man. There's guys out there who says the same thing when it comes down to a woman. Men say things like " Why do I need a woman I can cook and clean and if I want sex I can get that too" But that's ok right? But when a saying she can make it without a man it's a problem some of us just happened to strong independent women who loves self and our peace of mind.
I don't understand how not "needing" a man is such a badge of honor!!! I have Survived not having a man since my husband died 11 years ago, but I am not as well off as when he was here! And I am not speaking about finances.

Both my mother in law and wife say the same thing until something in the house needs fixing, they was to go out with friends or on vacation/fun trip and the little ones need to be cared for, until the snow hits, the car needs fixing, kids have an appointment, they are sick and need to be cared for (I don’t get the same treatment), or the bills come in and I make more money. Other than that, they don’t need no stinking man, lol.
