I totally understand this. It is hard enough to navigate an interracial relationship from the outsiders who disagree with your choices. But it’s even harder when it comes from family whether it’s from the white or black side of the family. I for one am also in an interracial relationship and we also had to do the same about 30 years ago. It was not by choice it was bc people on both sides of the family just couldn’t get over the fact that we love each other they only saw color. What I found out was that I could handle the things the outsiders did but it was hard to deal with family bc you see them a lot. You can have certain family members that talk about you and your children that is negative so why be around it. I have a rule I say to myself if that person wasn’t my family member would I want to be around them and I go on according to my answer. Bc if you think about it it’s only a label that is put on a person such as grandmother, grandfather, mom, dad , etc… I could go on
I pray that all will be well for your family. And whoever doesn't like it shame on them.

Ill tell you children need to know where they come from. So they know what they are up against. I have a niece that acts a bit like my sister and they don’t even hang around or be around each other.
What if we got it all wrong? Why would an all wise creator create different races of people, and not expect them to cohabitate in peace and love. What if we’re supposed to reproduce with other races? Racism is a learned behavior, our creator never warned us not to mix with other races, man created division, we are all connected by consciousness. If you understood, you would never allow anything to divide, or make you believe we are separate from each other.
Hopefully everyone mellows out..love can often win out over hating
