When he hugs his sister and said "We did the right thing," I get CHILLS head. to. toe!
They were so scared and still got through all the steps to get help for their mom and themselves including waiting outside to direct the first responders. Excellent job! And it was great to see how much support they had from family and the community. Loved how grandpa came right over and the officer came out to tell them how well they did. Hope their mom was OK and was able to get the help she needed to be really well after this incident.
Personally I believe all children should know how and when to call 911.
