i put neosporin on my earrings put them in my holes and there you go.
I got my ears pierced in Germany in 1967. instead of cleaning the newly developed holes with peroxide or alcohol, we were told to clean the fresh piercings with warm chamomile tea twice a day. the tea tans the healing tissue and the tea is very soothing. my piercings have never gotten infected and I can go years without wearing earrings, and I can still put earrings in. if more people used chamomile tea, there would be less issues with piercings.
I have never cleaned my earring hole and still alive, just take a shower.

you wouldn't believe, or maybe you could, a lot of people do not clean their piercings.
I just washed my neck and ears in the shower like normal and I’ve never had a problem ever rinse

I have piercings for over 30 years. Never had to clean them with anything other then taking a shower and washing my hair.
just wipe with cotton or tissue of alcohol on both sides of each ear piercing hole. and never wear any metals causing infections either. As real 18 kt gold with stainless steel earrings are a lot cheaper but are non-allergenic to infections though. unless you are allergic to stainless steel which silverware is made from

just clean your ears with alcohol wipes, put your earrings in then go over the site front and back with alcohol again.
Better they know where the hole should be done and done by a professionally. Later on can cause cyst and infections depending on of the section you do it.
She must clean her ears twice a year!
