Well now we know why she said no. I had a man make a grand performance asking me to marry him in front of everyone we worked with.We never dated,in fact I was only a couple of months from getting married. I'm not sure how it happened but everyone felt bad for him even though everyone including him knew I was in love with and marrying my husband. She said no, not up here. That is her telling you to up your game and be romantic. What woman wants a man to ask her to spend her life with someone that thinks a tram is romantic? Flowers, dinner and maybe a walk or something. It doesn't have to be original or expensive. It is the effort you put into it to display the effort you will put into the marriage. Marriage is hard work and takes 2 working together and reciprocation/appreciation for what the other does to make marriage better.
I witnessed a marriage proposal where she said “no”. Her boyfriend of 7 years was crushed. She told her besties that she was “takjng him for everything he’s got” while she waits for a rich guy. Her boyfriend took her to Hawaii, France, Aruba, Bermuda, the Dominican Republic (which she requested but hated), Cancun and a 10 day cruise (where she was obnoxious). He was paying the rent on her condo until she decided to move into his beautiful home which he let her redecorate. He gave her everything. Because she said “no” he asked her to leave his house. Two years later she is still single and he is engaged to a fantastic woman. His ex wants him back now!

Back in 1994 shortly after I had my 2nd child, my ex was an assistant Manager for a restaurant and he had asked me to bring the kids in and have dinner. I and the kids get there and all of a sudden he had all of his employees gather around the table, sat the marriage license down and said he needed me to sign it. I looked at him and said, I’m sorry I can’t, got up and took my kids and went back home. I said no because there were a lot of trust issues in the relationship as all he would do is cheat so finally when my daughter was a little over a year old, I waited until he was at work and left with my (our) kids and never looked backed. This guy here is way of control and needs some serious ANGER MANAGEMENT CLASSES….
