We have a beautiful little black rescue dog who picked us just like this...11 years ago. She's a precious part of the family. ♥️ Irreplaceable.

My black lab picked me. She jumped out of the pen 3 times to come running to me. I figured out that she looked at me and thought " that fat man looks like he eats well. I want to go live with him, maybe he'll share. Lol. She was right.

My baby girl (now 6) cream Golden chose me. When she was just 4-weeks old, I sat down in the welping box. Three times she ran up and laid her chin on my thigh - the last time peeing on me. That sealed both our fates. We are meant for each other.

1980.. my Big Burly Rottweiler age 8 weeks old... I sat on the Breeders lawn n waited.... out of 6 puppies.. He came n curled me n laid down.. The breeders was so impressed.. She gave me 100$ back.. Witnessed we deserved each other
Every time I've gone to get a puppy, I let them pick me. I get the best!
A lot of times they really do pick us! I don't know how, but I've seen it literally hundreds of times when I volunteered at Rescues. But I'd love to see some real studies as to how dogs do it (and other pets)!

My girl picked me, at the shelter my boyfriend and I were looking. I picked up one and he picked up at one, well we traded, the rest was history. The one he gave me started kissing me. I started to give her back, she started screaming and held on for dear life. I sat down with her, she climbed up and wrapped around my neck. We went to fill out the paperwork and pay for her. She the queen of the house now!

I completely believe that, when you go to adopt a little animal puppy, your cat, or a kitten, they somehow know you are their person. I’ve had this happen to me several times over the course of my various rescue animals that I’m took home, they were with me for years and years. Pet is for life, there’s or yours, not to be taken lightly, not to be cast aside. I want a pet picks you you are theirs for life. And I hate when people drop their dogs off in some strange neighborhood and drive away. It just breaks my heart and it makes me mad all at the same time.
