It's a shame how toxic the food is here. I am a young person and I already have so many nutritional deficiencies and tumors from this junk food.
I love how we're supposed to take these people suing companies (for strictly altruistic reasons of course!) seriously but they can't even take the time to even get their spelling correct! I may not want sand in my tacos but I really don't know if I want 'cocoa power' in them either! Sue these companies to make a fortune and then come back and complain prices are too high to eat out! Hypocrisy at its finest.
Actually it's a water-hydrated silica which is used as a thickening agent in MANY foods .. it is not 'sand' unless it's chemical properties are changed, put under high pressure and mixed with finely divided rock and minerals. So while I agree silica shouldn't be in our foods .. the guy being 'interviewed' is being a typical alarmist spouting half truths.

i think he means cellulose not silica. one has been a meat stretcher for decades, the other is sand.
