That is why, while walking anywhere in the winter when it's has snowed and or rained and it's cold out I walk like a 105 year old..do I look crazy, yes, but do I ever fall while doing that..noooo. A sweet coworker just slipped on black ice, cracked her head open, was bleeding profusely, had to go to the ER and got 2 stitches, thankfully she's okay otherwise.
biggest problem is those shoes your wearing to walk around in, they got no traction, that's why your falling, Eben there is snow on the ground and it's slippery, wear actual snow boots and pay attention to where your walking.. and suggest for the businesses to put down salt on their sidewalks out front of their stores/ businesses

You have to be so careful when walking on snow since it can appear like snow but have black ice under it. I have strap on cleats that I put on my shoes for this weather.
