And with regard to your question as to the National Guardsman that was killed…yes, President Trump issued a proclamation ordering U.S. flags be flown at half-staff nationwide on December 4, 2025, in honor of Specialist Sarah Beckstrom, the West Virginia National Guard member killed in the November 26, 2025, shooting in Washington, D.C. With regard to Melissa Hortman, Minnesota Democrat Speaker of the House and Congresswoman was an extremely vocal critic of President Trump and Republican policies. In other words, she was not kind to Trump…need I say more?
