plus you didn't want to go inside the house because you might not get to go back outside
and I wouldn't change a second of those memories💕🥰
Facts !!! They don’t even do that anymore on the news !! lol she dead rite though …
I was like 6 years old and my Dad tossed me into the 12ft deep end and said swim boy!
We were out there fending for ourselves.
We couldn't go in inside. If we did we'd have to chores or something. When you were out you were out until the street lights came on. Like wild animals
How millennials feel after giving their kids a better life than theirs
he reminds me of the ants from the ants movie...
I loved the old days. The best living anyone could ever have 😂😂💯
Clean Clean.Had dishwasher wasn’t allowed to use it 😭😭
I was shot with a BB gun when I was 5 😆
excuse me but us 80s babies can relate as well
and if you do take your ass in the house you in the house for the rest of the day..
We built forts and swung from vines cross creeks it was the greatest days ever. And that car seat thing is so true my ass has never been in a car seat my seatbelt was my parents arm when they hit the brakes hard.
those were the days that we preferred a whooping instead of being made to stay in the house for punishment,
😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
fukk no sinks were not an option when you Caint go in da house in the summer when it's ah zillion degrees outside, go in stay in.😂😊😂💅🏾
Does she remind anyone else of
oh I love her every single word out of her mouth was the truth my mother would get us up even on Saturday mornings and say she had to clean the house and mop the floors she would get us dressed feed us some sort of breakfast or make the oldest kid do breakfast and then throw us outside and tell it's not to come home until lunch where she would be standing on the front porch with sandwiches to pass out because we really weren't allowed in the house unless we had to go to the bathroom and trust me if they had had an outhouse outside that was where we would be going
don't forget piling all the kids in the back of a station wagon or truck with no seat belts. we put our stepfather in the trunk to save on the adult fee at the drive-in
If you were playing outside and wanted a drink of water, instead of going all the way back in the house, you turned on the yard water hose to get a drink. 🤔
I miss pre internet and cell phones. we didn't need them.
I remember when the TV went off
my friends and I used to travel between cities our parents never knew what we were doing or where we were. we just had to be home by the time the street lights came on
who's mom made them wash the walls yes on the weekends then we could watch Saturday cartoons with cereal
and only kids that well helmets riding a bike was the special kids. we didn't wear no damn helmets and we were jumping off a Burns and fucking stacks of wood everything😳 and she's right I didn't know what the seat belt was for in a car😳
Thats Real Life Facts 💯
we were the last generation of free-range kids.
the sun came up edible cereal went outside came back just before the sun went down and had dinner. even if I wanted back in the house the doors were probably locked.😂
Welcome to the greatest childhood lol
Kids think we are exaggerating lol. We definitely are not exaggerating at all! I remember Jarts! The neighbor kids were all at my dad’s house and the neighborhood was our backyard. Home by lights on. Hose water and neglect was the trend I guess
She’s so right…😂🤣😂🤣😂
Absolutely, no padding under the monkey bars, roller skates with the key, ring-o-leavia, freeze tag, kick the can, loadies, double dutch all day. When those lights came on you better be in the house.
This is Old School shit right here for real...Not only did we drink from the hose but we drank from the "Johnny Pump", and this is a fire hydrant for those who don't know... I'm a sixties baby...And growing up back then was so much better than how kids are growing up today..Kids today are so soft and delicate and emotional as hell...Back in the days growing up was so much better than how kids are growing up today...
down south almost every neighbor had a fruit tree. Apples pears plums pecans walnut. any field had blackberries honeysuckles. ppl had gardens too we easily ate watermelon canolope and honeydew. we Played! red light green light hop scotch jumped rope pop willys. all we needed was water. 😂
God outside all day facts
I was shot with a BB gun.
so fucking true LMFAO
I was born in the '50s and that's how we were parented as well.....
I was number two in a family of 13 children. If I had a chance to get outside I stayed outside until the curfew horns went off. It was every kid for themselves but damn we survived! 😰
we grew up with lawn darts yall grew up with corn hole
ignorance is Bliss
😆😆😆😆
OH HELL YEAH
I can't... My gut... I can't breathe!! 🤣🤣🤣😂
😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
why is that dude acting like hes not old as shit like us 🤔
same. Gen x here
Yeah we had sinks but, if you went in the house you ran the risk if not being able to come back outside! A literal death sentence!😳
😂
Exactly 💯
She ain’t lying. ‘76 born in date. We had the best times in the worst of times. We improvised our whole childhood. We were tiny McGyvers. Fucking GOOD ole days.
maan she never lied I think I our generation was the fuck around and find out generation😭😂😂😂😂😂
lmmfao so true 😂😀😀😀
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
yeah I was born in 75 and was an outside child and best believe my 01 and my 07 child was outside kids too, and I was with them playing kickball jump rope hopscotch jax Red light green light football you name I was very active with them and the neighborhood children we had a blast it was always at least 4 adults at all times we all had jobs, but we made sure them babies had pure fun, trip's to the store to reward them cookouts parties but most of all we made sure each kid had a ball
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣 MAAAAAN! I'M DOOOONE 😭😭
Amen to that......
Well, when you’re outside 24 seven and you that’s where you live just about you know the water hose is where you drank from you know the lawn hose is
And we’ve never stayed in the car until he dropped dead neither
If you got hurt while outside, you rubbed some dirt on it and get moving. Bike ramps were made.out of would and bodies. Lawn darts were thrown high in the sky and you took off running. Water hoses were you're sinks and the best tasting water ever! National them played every night and the TV stations went off the air.
