plus you didn't want to go inside the house because you might not get to go back outside
We were out there fending for ourselves.
I was like 6 years old and my Dad tossed me into the 12ft deep end and said swim boy!
alr unc we get it you survived a measly bb gun and dart and were outside all day
She ain't lying !!! 😅 If you go in the house, you staying in the house, our parents didn't play that in and out of the house back then, either your in the house or outside no in between....
Man I avoid the house in the 90s plus chances are if you go in the house, you might don’t go back out
Facts !!! They don’t even do that anymore on the news !! lol she dead rite though …
We built forts and swung from vines cross creeks it was the greatest days ever. And that car seat thing is so true my ass has never been in a car seat my seatbelt was my parents arm when they hit the brakes hard.
Remember gathering pop bottles to turn in for money for candy at the corner store. Those were the days!
and I wouldn't change a second of those memories💕🥰
We couldn't go in inside. If we did we'd have to chores or something. When you were out you were out until the street lights came on. Like wild animals
I loved the old days. The best living anyone could ever have 😂😂💯
Does she remind anyone else of
How millennials feel after giving their kids a better life than theirs
and if you do take your ass in the house you in the house for the rest of the day..
I miss pre internet and cell phones. we didn't need them.
I was shot with a BB gun when I was 5 😆
he reminds me of the ants from the ants movie...
Clean Clean.Had dishwasher wasn’t allowed to use it 😭😭
😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
He probably was the kid who went in the house to get water and couldn’t come back outside
YUP !!🤣🤣🤣
I remember when the TV went off
those were the days that we preferred a whooping instead of being made to stay in the house for punishment,
fukk no sinks were not an option when you Caint go in da house in the summer when it's ah zillion degrees outside, go in stay in.😂😊😂💅🏾
don't forget piling all the kids in the back of a station wagon or truck with no seat belts. we put our stepfather in the trunk to save on the adult fee at the drive-in
oh I love her every single word out of her mouth was the truth my mother would get us up even on Saturday mornings and say she had to clean the house and mop the floors she would get us dressed feed us some sort of breakfast or make the oldest kid do breakfast and then throw us outside and tell it's not to come home until lunch where she would be standing on the front porch with sandwiches to pass out because we really weren't allowed in the house unless we had to go to the bathroom and trust me if they had had an outhouse outside that was where we would be going
this guy's an idiot, no sinks weren't an option.... not when you're six blocks from your house. playing in the pre you run up the closest house. turn on their hose, take a drink and go on about your day.
If you were playing outside and wanted a drink of water, instead of going all the way back in the house, you turned on the yard water hose to get a drink. 🤔
we were the last generation of free-range kids.
Welcome to the greatest childhood lol
my friends and I used to travel between cities our parents never knew what we were doing or where we were. we just had to be home by the time the street lights came on
I was born in the '50s and that's how we were parented as well.....
and only kids that well helmets riding a bike was the special kids. we didn't wear no damn helmets and we were jumping off a Burns and fucking stacks of wood everything😳 and she's right I didn't know what the seat belt was for in a car😳
I watched my father buy dynamite from the hardware store, no ID, no questions!
I've been stabbed with a dar I've been hit with a bb gun i wasn't allowed inside cuz "it was too nice of a day" lmao I'M In TRARS right now this is SO funny
we drank from a hose cuz mom kicked us outside all day
It 10 pm do you know we're your children are followed by this is your brain on drugs
who whas inside back rhen , fuck the world was our video game, and we had fun untill the street lights came on ,, good memries
so fucking true LMFAO
Kids think we are exaggerating lol. We definitely are not exaggerating at all! I remember Jarts! The neighbor kids were all at my dad’s house and the neighborhood was our backyard. Home by lights on. Hose water and neglect was the trend I guess
im gen z and we was outside but you better be back before the street lights
That's real shit 😂😂😂😂😂 Lmbo 😂😂😂😂😂
this generation is swear 😅😅
once you go in you cant go back out whose risking that
👍😆💕
This is the why I was brought up but my mom didn’t lock us out
she telling no. lies u had to pay out or stay in the house. street light u better be by the house don't get me started on the slide we had to slide down on in the summer time a damn frying pan and then on top of that we could go past a block some of us and ect gen x here 😭😂
