Ya'll must be city folk. If a horse wears a blanket a lot, its hair will not grow 2 keep it warm. If its terribly cold then can use a bkanket, or left in a barn with blanket & straw.
Why didn’t the owner put BLANKETS on THESE HORSES ????? It was Very cold and snowy out there, you can see the snow falling off their backs !!!! I think that’s Animal Cruelty. That man would certainly make sure he had a coat, hat and gloves on before he went outside to keep warm, what about the poor horses ??? I hope he has heat for them in their stables !!!!

Ours were out during the day. Out the fields the other herd had 3 sided shed to shelter under at night and during bad weather. They did well

Horses grow a thick coat for winter & are just fine outside in the snow. I'm I'm sure they also have wooden shelters to go under to get out of the rain & snow.

My farmer dad would have kicked my ass if I’d left our horses out in the snow that long. I can hear him, “Those are our animals and it’s our job to take care of them!!!”
