Why is the toilet so low to the floor if advertised for an elderly person?
No getting back up even with the hand rail using that low of a seat, especially having crashed down onto it getting my knees to bend to that angle. I will keep my toilet.

As a therapist we teach people who have difficulty with transfers to remember NOSE OVER TOES to rise up from any surface.
Oh no. I'd never be able to get up. My entire spine is fused from T1 - L5. Sitting with my knees that high & butt that low .. I'd have to have some type of lift to get me standing on my feet. Not to mention the wiping issues. The FUSION doesn't bend. (LOL.. that was a fun & embarrassing time in the hospital trying to learn that!!)
that toilet design is more in line with what is natural for humans when they are going to the bathroom. People that say it wouldn't work, probably think that humans were designed to require toilet paper ........

Gotta make it higher by quite a few inches, and not such a high scoop. A lifting flap to do same purpose
yeah that's awful though it needs to be taller 17 and a half inches tall. that will fit most people and you don't have to squat so far down.

Having two of the push up folds bars would be better because of weakness and you can utilize both arms.
That would be terrible for old people that would be terrible for tall people, especially tall old people. It’s too far to get down even with the handrail out the side right that be too hard to get up.
