She's like a wild animal placed in a cage that wants and longs to be free again! It will make a lot of noise until it is...💔💯

Forgiving a cheater can, unfortunately, create a dynamic where the cheater feels they got away with it, often leading to a higher likelihood of them cheating again. This happens primarily for two interconnected reasons: Lack of Meaningful Consequences: When forgiveness is granted without the cheater having to genuinely face significant, lasting consequences—be they emotional, relational, or otherwise—the primary lesson they learn is that the benefits of cheating (excitement, validation, etc.) outweigh the costs. Reinforcement of Behavior (The "Easy Out"): Forgiveness provides an "easy out". They conclude that their actions were ultimately survivable by the partnership and, therefore, are acceptable risks in the future. In essence, without genuine, difficult reckoning and a profound change in behavior and commitment, forgiveness alone can act as a permission slip!
