okay first off I'm going to say I don't believe this damn story, but it is a good story dude! and I guess it's plausible that a mermaid might be off the Gaza strip, LOL but if you ask me what they should have done with the mermaid? That's one hell of a question man. the scientist in me has to say that I would want to run tests on it and see what makes it tick, find out how it survives and I mean learn everything about it in and out. do experiments on it and learn on it, that's what I would do. I damn sure wouldn't eat it, it was probably nasty anyways LOL but I bet nobody else give you such a lengthy ansswer
