our daughter had our 1st granddaughter when she still lived with us. I had a 1 year old lab named Zeus and he fell in love with our granddaughter. he absolutely ADORED her and thought it was his job to entertain her. 🥰
I don't know why so many people would tell you that. everybody knows that God send those animals to us to enrich in our lives. and he will definitely be a best friend to that child forever
My German Shepherd always slept by my bed, but never in it. The last two weeks of my pregnancy I'd wake up everyday to find myself literally pinned down as he was completely covering my legs. When I came home with the baby in my arms he very gently stood up, a paw on each shoulder. He looked at the baby, gave him some licks for good measure, and then laid down right by the bassinet. People came over to see the baby, and my dog who never growled, stood up poised to strike and growling. As soon as I told him it was all right, he laid back down, perfectly content to guard and protect his baby. If the baby was crying and I was doing laundry, he'd let me know. They are so smart. If the baby crashed on the floor, he fall asleep with him. He'd put one of his paws completely across him. You never saw one without the other.

My Daughter had a Golden retriever who was in love with her baby boy! She slept next to his bed from the time they brought my Grandson home. Nobody could have prepared them when she passed away 12 years later! It was heartbreaking and little boys don't understand why dogs don't live forever! Then, a year later he lost his Mom to Covid... My heart is still broken for him!💕

Dogs know SO MUCH MORE than most folks give them credit for! All my Shepherds,Rotties & mix breeds knew exactly how to behave & something big was happening inside my belly before both my kids were born. 🥰💕
I've never owned one of these dogs but by observing them, they sure know how to relate to humans.

💕🙏HE was your first baby, now he is a big brother 💙. Dogs are Gaurdian 👼 Angels. My grandson 💙 is alive 🙌 today because electricity went out and the family did not realize it, sleeping in the middle of the night fire place not burning. He would have FROZE it go so cold 🥶 but the dog 🐕 got in his crib and kept him warm. The doctor said it was a miracle 🙏💕🙏

I agree 💯. I cry for the dogs that are brought into the murder shelters because the family is having a baby. Even though it's a great dog some never find a new home before their time is up and then murdered for space.
