When we went to look at horses for my daughter, a big Percheron gelding wrapped his head around my daughter and gave her a horse hug! At this point it was love at first sight between the two. A match made in heaven! We've had him now for 21 years. He still gives her the occasional horse hug. He's just a big dog that eats hay! 😆

People don't realize that everything these horses do including bite is at the direction of the guard. Tiny invisible muscle movements are sensed by the horse as a command. These guards do not do this all day. They train with the horses for hours and know how to use those swords. These are real warhorses, it is their personal horse that they take care of themselves. Make no mistake, these are highly trained professionals. Both of them. Like a police dog. It's an amazing bond between horse and human.
