What would be more impressive would be to get a lathe, some nice straight grained ash, some sandpaper, and varnish. Make baseball bats and give them to some kids to play ball. As for what he is doing, it would be just as impressive if he would pound his head against a concrete wall. Just as much an accomplishment.
