We rode those while on vacation in Tennessee. You control the gas and brake but if one car slows down or stops, all of the other cars automatically stop to prevent collisions. It's an automatic safety feature.

The little punk ignored the sign to slow down which is what you're supposed to do near the end of the run which is what the lady was doing I hope she wasn't hurt too bad but that little punk needed to learn a big lesson and be banned and probably sued if she's hurt the little punk didn't even pull up the lever to brake at all

Who cares???? It's a safety issue!! The kid behind her is going 5x her speed, which is the normal speed. It's like getting rear-ended in your car because you want to take pictures (going 5x SLOWER) and the person behind you is driving the normal speed comes around a corner.
