its most likely Ai. But also could be super heavy in the front end of the trailer when they disconnected the yard truck since the weight is out of the ass end of the trailer theirs no weight holding it down so it nose dived. since some people dont know how to load trailers or how to distribute the weight correctly.

Truck disconnected for trailer to be unloaded and was obviously loaded from heavy and not properly supported by the from stand

Yeah put too much weight on the front of the trailer while detached from the power unit

as these people unloaded the trailer it became heavier in the front causing the jacks to become a pivot point lifting the rear of the trailer in the air could possibly be due to a forklift

trailer wasn't locked into the dock, didn't have a stand for safety under the nose, or truck still hooked up to it.

avator

that lock under the plate you standing on would have prevented that

An anti nose dive pole could've prevented this. Good chance the trailer had one but wasn't used by whoever unhooked it.

Yeah I’ve been doing this awhile and it has to be locked and truck must stay locked to the trailer somebody was new and the driver asked if they can drop it off and come back when it unloaded most of the time you get caned food dog food and heavy items so the front it heavy that’s a 58 foot trailer and the and the tires are at the back so it’s too heavy when the fork truck came out I bet it was just enough bouncing at the entrance and the trailer popped up and swung down

what's goin on is whoever is losing that empty trailer with no tractor in front has way to much weight on the front axle so it's popping it up,they had one job an easy one at that..

😳rig dropped trailer at dock and didn't put the stand under king pin. so this can happen while unloading all weight is in very front..lol seen it before

They loaded the trailer to heavy in the front. The trailer tipped forward because it wasn't coupled to a tractor.

take a forklift out of the warehouse around to the front of the trailer and lift and unload 😁

avator

Well looks like someone didn't go outside and check if the trailer had a jack before loading. It happens. Get fork lift and push down on trailer and put jack stand under.

tractor not hooked up, no jack under the fifth wheel plate, and a pup trailer, and someone drove a loaded tow motor on it.

the truck probably disconnected n didn't put the front stands down

avator

That's why you don't unhook the trailer from the Tractor, or if you do, put a support stand infront of it😂

Looks like a driver pulled out from under the trailer w/o putting the landing gear down. The dock lock must not have been engaged either

the tandems should be all the way back and jack stands on both sides of the front should have been installed after the tractor is removed. the ICC hook doesn't completely stop a trailer from flipping up.

This is what happens when you don't know what you're doing on loading. A truck looks to me like they're hanging. Loading the truck and put all the ways on the news of the trailer, it's their fault.

avator

this happens at my job a lot more than it should. drivers forget to put the tandems down or they don't put the pin in and as soon as a forklift gets far enough into the trailer...they go for a ride.
