Can we do better at respecting our elders? I’m sure he had a child or family member to call, putting an elder through an arrest and booking when they are in ‘elderly incompetence’ phase is a waste of taxpayer dollars and degrades the moral standard of our society. Is hitting a cop car wrong? Yes. Did he do it from malicious intent and understanding or age? Thats the point, call his caregivers and they can make sure he makes his court date, and install better elopement prevention for this fine old man 🌸💕

I'm so glad when my dad went missing and they found him over 80 miles away the cop was so nice to him and waited with him till I got there this ever happens to your loved one pressure the police officer to do a full report so that you can get the help that your elderly people need I believe this cop was treating him like he was drunk Alzheimer's and intoxication are quite easy to tell the difference between the two just another horribly trained police officer out serving and protecting the hell out of us
