I check not only for cracks, but to see their not stuck to the carton. If they're stuck, it's almost impossible to get them out without breaking them

Okay, let’s analyze this a bit…… What was she x expecting when she came back with her complaint? 1. Get a new carton of eggs and make sure there were no cracked ones 2. Expect the clerk to tell her to keep them for free? 3. Get the one cracked egg replaced with a good one from another carton? Personally, going back to the store for one cracked egg is ridiculous! Just my opinion.

OK guys, true story. I was recently working the customer service desk at a large chain grocery store. This lady I like to call (a repeat offender), came in with 18 cartons of eggs, only 2 of, which had a crack in them. Wanted a brand new 18 carton. I asked where the other 16 were, and she said she ate them. I told her NO!! I'd gladly replace the two, but not 18.
