Man I can taste those grapes fresh off the vine. I'm Portuguese, my community is heavily Portuguese and we saw a lot of this growing up as kids. Everyones vavo and vovo made wine from their grapevines, as well as moonshine from pears and likely whatever else they were growing.. All the Portuguese men in the neighborhood would be giving out their homemade wine and shine for lil gifts to neighbors, always comparing whose was better.. always worrying about kids sneaking into garages for free booze. I LOVE those grapes. You could walk thru my neighborhood everyone had them in their yards. The brand Hi- Chew makes a grape chew that tastes exactly like these grapes - I don't even like candy, but those damn grape hi chews take me back!! lmAo
