She would be the focus of everyone in the church and the focus should only be on God!! This wasn’t handled properly either. The seasoned saints of the church should have had a private conversation with the lady and explain why she is dressed inappropriately to be in the presence of the Lord . Much prayer and training is definitely needed!!!
Come as you are is referring to your spiritual, emotional state, not clothes, God deserves Respect because he is a Holy God. If they can buy street wear they can buy decent clothes for church
Quick question… would she wear church clothes covering up everything to a CLUB? NO! She would say oh no ai can’t show up to the club like that! So if she can be conscious about her club attire she can be conscious about her church attire. People do what they want, when they want and how they want. The church has a dress code. Just like most clubs etc have dress code. Now I would not have approached her like that. People get mad when they are turned away from the club, restaurants etc for wearing jeans or sneakers🤷🏽♀️people know better they just choose to do otherwise then walk away hurt.

Nice car, would she wear this fit to work for a company, with the CEO present? What about to school to a parent meeting? What about to a very important meeting with President Obama and his wife? No meeting is more important than a meeting with The Almighty God. So why dress as if ya left a night club. Short sets are never for Sunday or midweek service unless you are a little baby or an underdeveloped child.
I don't understand what the big deal is when you go to the club there's a dress code when you go to court this dress codes certain things you cannot wear even in some shopping stores so why is it a problem when there's certain things you can't wear when you go to church if that's all you have then I understand that that case if the ushers give you a scarf or something to cover your legs if they're showing a little too much and too high up there's no problem you came in for the word but let's be respectful for other saints especially if men that have other temptation sexual temptation going on you don't want to arouse them or have the church looking like a dating scene instead of a place to serve God
