Yeah, I'm glad you didn't run into them. You both may have gotten hurt. That happened to me on my way to work on a Sunday morning. I was driving off a highway.And of course I slowed down and one deer.One young buck jumped over my hood and a few seconds later, cause I was in shock, slowed way down another one jumped over the hood of my car, so I had double trouble.

Daily occurrence in our town on Broadway Street, which is a four lane running through town. A hot rod got wiped out by a deer ran into the side of it during the day.

Years ago I lived in Lutz, just outside of Tampa. It was still pretty woody. Driving to my nice big and good rent apartment way down the two lane highway. A deer ran across the road. Unexpected and exciting.
