Later that day
Does anyone know how a still works? None of the water you're seeing will be in the finished product. The water you're seeing is used in the condenser/condensing process to cool the coil to turn the vapor back to a liquid form before it reaches the storage container otherwise it just evaporates and disappears into the air and the water you see here never is in or even touches the product. The water is recycled over and over which is why it's dirty, which doesn't matter at all because, like I said, it never is in or comes into contact with the end product at anytime during the distillation process. He is recycling and should because it would take hundreds if not thousands of gallons of fresh cooling water to make a single gallon of booze. You should educate yourself on shit before you jump to conclusions or try to judge something you know nothing about. Just saying.
rubber hose gives it that great flavor
I love that shine a moonshine master said if red bull gives you wings moonshine gives you a four-wheel drive 😂😂😂😂
Moon shine at it's finest!!🥰
and thats how you make dookie dook stew
imma thinking, your making brandy?
GRAPPA....... 180-200 proof...... then you do it again with GOOD spring water to get it down to drinkable proof..... flavor comes from the type of grapes you use..... you can add blueberries or ground up (very fine) almonds, ground coffee, or strawberry juice to get your flavors and the intensity..... grape skins after crushing and second press with water will give you the best NATURAL alcohol with different flavors depending on the grapes...... "grapat" of old had their "formulas" in their head and would recreate same tasting grappa year after year. Drank one year old and 35 year old and could not tell the difference..... my "grapat" was the best at it......
Not sure about all this talk of a still. This guy is just out in the barn making a batch of his Grandma's homemade Vegetable Soup. 🙄
That's straight up, jail pruno, on a large scale,
Wow is this cherry wine
Making the wine we can afford.
Must be Maddog 50 50
WAIT FOR WHAT??? 🤔
I can't read anymore of this because the ignorance runs deep in all of these responses, I am amazed by how little knowledge about how things were done back not too long ago, what would happen if technology suddenly disappeared all of would not know what to do
Are you making whiskey or liquor lightning
it is a .. human waste recycler..
It's a still look at the pipe on top to catch the steam
What did he kill ? 🟦😷🏴☠️
Making shine
I wish they would include what’s happening here, instead of having to guess and read all the comments, and nobody really knows.
grappa, literally light my world
one of the coolest distillation rigs ever 😎
😆
What in the Moonshine is going on here 😆
Wh
Betcha he made a crap load of toilet wine in the penitentiary.
Those buckets are filthy, wine or no wine! Nooooo
More helpful if videos TOLD what is happening, so no comment GUESSING. 🤔 🤔 👍
Guess I’m going to follow Mr. California since Californians know it all and they’ve been out in the backwoods making shines, brandy’s, and wines. Not to mention we do it down here in the Deep South to supplement our income your right god forbid about technology and y’all out there in California actually have to do physical labor you should look it up up or google physical labor it’s actually a real thing
What is this guy doing? My best guess is he's built a super still. Moonshine by the tank car.
my thought is Brandy. Best brandy comes from distilled wine. but any fruit can be distilled into brandy. but interesting still.
is he making brandy?
He floods the couplings to keep scaping alcohol vapor from catching on fire and avoiding an explosion.
That’s a lot of copper, keep your eyes open for theft.
it all starts out as shine
All that trouble for possum stew?
what's he cooking 🙏
west Virginia
That’s going to be some good whiskey. Second run, that’s why there is no sour mash.
it's a whiskey dispensary he's making moonshine
still.. looks like brandy to me.
i was thinking wine and brandy
This brings back the memory of watching a brand new still from Germany making the very first batch of White Lightning...Moonshine. The distiller had a "carboy"...an instrument used to measure alcohol content and it was being held in the stream coming from the spout...and as he took the readings he was saying every 5 seconds...Lacquer Thinner, Lacquer Thinner, Lacquer Thinner, Lacquer Thinner, White Lightning! ...and just like that...it went from Lacquer Thinner to Moonshine! It still amazes me that in a split second it changed from something that would poison a human to becoming a palatable "beverage" that made your socks roll down and you had to take a breath after just one sip! It will put you on your butt real fast!!! That was at Bluebird Distillery in Phoenixville PA...and since then they have gone from just White Lightning onto, Whiskey, Rye, Bourbon, Aged Whiskey, Single Malt Whiskey, Gin and Vodka. It's now sold in most State Store in PA.
