I think an addition to the constitution is necessary. The 2nd amendment us great but if its abused the consequences should be severe, and because a federal law is violated the penalty would be nation wide.

I think it's far overdue because democrats have been ignoring prosecuting laws they don't like. they swore an oath to uphold all the laws if the land and they just didn't. When a local government entity refuses to prosecute certain laws federal law ought to step in and make sure our laws of the land that are already on the books are upheld. I thought we had checks and balances?
MOST local law enforcement agencies are capable of adequate policing. Our military should almost never be used against our civilian population. When a president demands blind loyalty from all of his subjects and seeks to punish anyone and everyone who disagrees with him, that should immediately be grounds for removal from office.
