wrong nail 2×4 to side of stringer pads out for drywall then skirt board the only cuts is top and bottom of skirting,bing-bang-boom

I've lived in 2 houses with stairs before. I'm 64 now. I'm not going to worry about stairs except for the 3 steps outside my door. This is a regular procedure to me. Had friends that were House Builders. KISS.
