Well to each his own beauty is in the eye of the beholder but not smart due to risk of infection a cut is a open wound which can attract bacteria and get infected and if not treated can be a large health risk

I think that they are beautiful on their LOVELY DARK SKIN! At least they’re cutting for body positivity not self hate. We are so quick to judge others instead of being open minded.

they are the most abused women it's sad and is sick that somebody would do that to a woman and try to brainwash them to believe that it's beautiful cuz it's not

Thank you for sharing! This is amazing and beautiful! There are certain people (often African or of African descent) who are likely to form keloid scar; I have this trait! Applying ash to the wound is a cultural technique that irritates the wound and promotes a more prominent (keloid) scar! The scar/art that results can show group Identity, status (or adulthood), aesthetics, bravery, spirituality! While using ash can result in infection and can complicate the outcome, the resulting scar is an aesthetic asset, and symbol of strength and endurance within the community (eg, Dinka and Nuer people of South Sudan, Suri (Surma) people in Ethiopia, Yoruba people in Nigeria, Makonde people of Tanzania). I love how these cultures/tribes (and we as people can) utilize a genetic trait to create beautiful body art! Hope that you have a beautiful day filled with light and love! Mahalo!

even dumber than tattoos! but then again, im thinking classical education not really a thing. also, im sure rife with aids, abuse of all types, inbreeding, and lord knows what else. but its nice bc it makes me feel so lucky im in u.s.a bc i did nothing to deserve this wonderful circumstance and life I was given here in the greatest place in the world. LONG LIVE UNTIED STATES OF AMERICA. BORN IN BLOOD, DYED IN STRUGGLE, AND THE LIGHT OF THE CIVILIZED WORLD
