my 9 year old granddaughter could really benefit from a bed like that! born with type 1 SMA, she is unable to move, and is getting too heavy for us to pick up easily. too bad ,tho,even when she was approved to receive a special air mattress to prevent bed sores,the company that suppies her machines,say it is only for hospitals,so we are fighting fot that right now. this bed just might work for her!!!
