Even if we had the money , we still would not control the country. we need to go back to before martin luther King messed everything up. He should have fought for equal rights.And we could have stayed in our communities. Instead , he wanted to live amongst white people. The end result destroyed our communities. And allowed latin americans to move in our communities and take over. To be treated civilly in this country is not enough. we want equal rights in equal pay , just like white gay men and white women got under the obama administration. Equal rights and pay for all american citizens of all nationalities. now we have no affirmative action or DEI . It is time for equal rights before they get rid of civil rights.

Dick Gregory is right but the power to be racist based on money speaks to systemic racism. True racism is just the belief that one is inferior or superior based on race. In systemic racism, many people including whites consider themselves to be superior based on their collective wealth as a people. Some of the same white people, including poor white people, think that laws or special rules exist that benefit minorities and not them as white people, making them feel inferior to minorities.
