its not the hoa it depends on where he lives the e county or area could've issued a dry spell which doesn't allow any form of fires except grills

In our county, we are allowed to burn in our backyards as long as there’s a no burn ordinance going on because of dry weather

almost everywhere has rules about open air burning...it's actually a law with criminal consequences...learn your local laws, and contact your local vfd and ask permission or assistance with a controlled burn

Go to the local fire department and get a burn permit. Where I live there’s no cost but it keeps them from doing what they did to you. It also makes the HOS pissed because they can’t do anything about it. On the plus side in the event it should spread there’s no reckless burning charges as long as you’re up front about what you’re burning and the size .

just to let you know it's not just what burns on top of the ground ,it could also start an underground fire as well .This happened to someone I know

That coin is feed corn. It’s not corn. It’s food. What do you think you get cornmeal from and he had to try waking up his leaves before he burns down his house his neighbor’s home.

Sounds like my stupid new neighbor. They move into an unincorporated area, expect no dogs to bark.....I have 5 dogs and 2 outside kennels, 20 plus chickens, ducks, and young peacocks. He called animal control on one of my shepherds barking. I called animal control to dispute the warning. I told the officer if he has an issue with one dog, wait until the peacocks get old enough to scream! Lol! The officer split a gut and said he is noting that the neighbor is the problem should any other complaints come in from him.

in reality, he was burning a stump (previous year based on photo), dry stumps have dry root systems that also burn underground and can/will continue to smolder for days/weeks/months or longer once visible surface flames/smoke are extinguished. albeit (based on video) he does seem to have adequate distance to property lines. wild fire crews always remain on site as a " mop up crew" for days after fire appears out for just this reason, roots can reignite at any time.

Don't live in a cubicle and complain about office rules. Get land for your family and burn when/what/how you want. Build a future that can last generations.

The rule of thumb in this country is your rights extend to the tip of your neighbor’s nose. She has the right to complain. Besides, why be a scofflaw and ignore laws and rules that were set up for a reason, like fire spreading to neighboring fields. I hope if you are burning plastic, make sure you eat those weinies so you can consume some of the toxins you are spreading. 😲

if you're going to burn brush I'm pretty sure you're supposed to get a permit for that so the fire department knows you're doing it. I live in New Hampshire and we're pretty free here but even we have to get a permit to burn brush. not for campfires but if it's anything bigger you got to have a permit.

if you don't have a permit to burn you shouldn't burn in your backyard the permit gives you an ideal layout of what will happen and how to control it and the permit protects you from fire department and wildlife.. dude I lived in suburban area and I had a permit to burn in my backyard for cooking and burning branches that would no longer needed.. educate yourself call the 811 the 411 and the 211 for all information that you really need for yourself to not get in trouble.. I have no problem with your neighbor calling on you because you seem ignorant
