The secret is sliding down the seat and slightly tilting the bike to the left, keep your left foot down and right foot on the rear brake, practice this on every stop until you are 100% comfortable stopping with only one foot down,

or... have a Certified bike shop lower the bike to where you are Comfortable with Control and Both feet on the ground . I lowered a 97 cbr xx, Blackbird. big bike. Comfortable room for two...almost 2 inches. I felt more IN control and didn't suffer ride quality or speed. open road, i could hit 130mph easy...
