Move to the White Mountains and live in Concho or St. John’s and you will see a lot of kids 9-10 or 11 drive down the dirt roads to the bus stop. They park the cars near the bus stop and when school is over they just get back into the cars and go home. It’s very common.
YES, this is real. I saw this on the NEWS, a woman ( not the childs' mom ) asked her to move the car .. well, you can see the results. The woman was arrested for child endangered and other charges.

When we were little( four kids under 10 ) mom left us in the station wagon, car running,the oldest jump from front seat to backseat kicked the gears into reverse rolled down the hill into the enbacment to say the least mom was pissed
