to donate to make a wig for cancer patients, it has to be at least a certain length, and not dyed. I've known women who will grow it out, just to get it cut. so thy can donate it, to be made into wigs for cancer patients

Years ago I went to a beautician and asked her to cut my hair. She said she would only cut 6 inches off at a time and then wait a couple weeks then come back if I wanted it shorter. She said she has done it to several people and they got mad at her. She said she will not go to such a dramatic cut.
