Here in the United States, it could go a number of different ways. Did he do the morally right thing? Yes, I would say he did. If a cop came upon this scene, he may hit the lights, jump out and help, or, cause a scene and arrest you for public endangerment, impeding a public thoroughfare and attempt to accuse him of being the one who put the tarp there in the first place. The USA is kind of a 70/30 Nation. Regardless of the situation, it rarely gets it right. At a guess, Iโd say about 30% of the time, you will get treated justly and fairly. The other 70% of the time, it could be anything.๐คฃ๐๐คฃ

I personally knew someone who did the same thjng and was struck and killed. A car can always be fixed. It's thoughtful but not worth it. Don't risk your life.
I was driving in Knoxville and a truck in front of me swerved. I ran into a clear bag big enough to put a 70's Cadillac in. My engine fan shredded a bunch of it. The rest melted around my universal joint on the drive shaft. It turned to hard plastic, and an hour later I was driving again. Thank God the bag was clear when it engulfed the front of my truck and I had a knife on me
why was that truck in no lane while man was finishing pull the item off the road.
My God he took a dangerous chance doing this, he couldโve been hit by a car or truck or worst both. Bless him ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ

Whatโs more sad is when some of us that do this have to deal with assholes that wonโt slow down or wait for you to get it out of the road. I almost got hit one time getting a skid out of the middle of the road. Only one idiot did that while all others waited. I figured there always has to be one on every situation or crowd that ruins it for others.

he responded in the same way that I would have I would seen that as a problem for other drivers so would have made it my mission also to stop and remove it out of the way of the streets it's nice to know that there are others that see things as danger to other people and our willing to stop and prevent accidents even though it could have been dangerous for him also there is still good and people
