Now I'm hearing that many states are signing into law that we cannot set traps for porch pirates- exploding boxes of paint, colored powder, or confetti are considered premeditated assault on strangers, regardless of what they are doing. I think it's B.S.
We don't have porch pirate problems in Texas. Everyone is armed.
I have 2 dogs trained in bite work , my house is VERY clearly marked ,they have a doggie door and I’m required to carry special insurance … I don’t worry about porch pirates. I also have my pkgs sent to a point of pick up so they have absolutely NO reason to come to my house.
Well then the states need to reimburse the homeowners. Stop protecting thieves like trump. They need to a damn job and locked up.

that video can go 2 different ways. The neighbors stole the package or I know of some neighbors that will grab a package if the person isn't home and hold onto the package until the person gets home for safe keeping. The way she was saying hi to the camera makes me think that she just took the package home for safe keeping until the owner gets home and she gives the package back. There are neighbors who look after each other and that is what I'm thinking of what's really going on in this video.

it's like i always say. the law is for the criminals .it's shame to know that criminals get caught by the cops and put in jail and they back on the streets but when they rob a bank and go out of range the money explodes what's the difference and it's a federal offense without a gun you get the same time.but I think i know what's needed. warning ⚠️ package may explode if it doesn't have your name and you can prove that you reside at this address etc: I new it might get to this.. hell you have to go court to remove squatters from your property all that unnecessary $$ paper it's not political it's just bad management of the judiciary system but seniors have to renew their license every 2 years and a vision test WOW

maybe her package was delivered to the wrong address. I would leave post it's for my neighbor if I picked up a package they delivered to her house. She seems to friendly and showing herself to be stealing
It's bad but if the stor owner can not find away to keep packages safe, Amazon will loose lots of business. Then people will have to goo back to shopping at the store and get exercise and socializing will start over again 😆😲🤔
I'd setup up a booby trap anyway. play stupid games win stupid prizes. People will never learn. I booby trapped my bedroom one time. I'd have a deadbolt on my room cus people would break into it and rob me while I was at work. they would climb our my moms window onto the roof go to my room window and pick the lock. so one day I took a couple 2x4s and put nails in them. went to work and didn't tell Noone about it cus I wanted to see who the theif was. they got a rude and painful awakening when they broke in again. the person did not see the board with nails sticking out. they had nerve to ask why I did that. I said it was better than killing you for being a thief. I was proud and laughed
Literally just had 2 kids steal my neighbors packages. Other neighbors caught them and called police. One kid was a tough kid and the other was bawling like a baby. Lucky that my neighbor didn’t press charges but community service is getting done

unless you've never had someone steal a package from you you have no idea how it feels. Especially when it was a gift for someone and it was personalized or out of stock. My daughter lived in an apartment and people stole 4 pikgs.

This is,why we own Two English Mastiffs one upstairs and his brother lives downstairs with me. The minute,anyone tries to come even near the front gate and they don't know you. I would just shut the gate and walk away from the house. Because you will not even try to attempt to come in our house they will go after you. The funny part is that if you do come into my house, you get attacked,it will be your fault not our dogs because they are only doing their job in protecting my family and property.

Just because you have a camera doesn't mean that it's not going to prevent people from taking your package. when you got to do is put a special receptacle that the package is put into on the porch that is under lock and key. That's really the only way to prevent this kind of theft
